It was four seasons in one day for Amy & Joe’s Valentines’ Day wedding in Shepshed and Normanton-on-Soar, with sunshine and snow. It was very special to be a part of this wedding, as clearly here was a couple head-over-heels in love, surrounded by such charming family and friends who cared deeply about them. There were so many tears of happiness that there quite literally wasn’t a dry eye in the house. The service by Father Michael was lovely and personal (thank you for making me feel so welcome in your Church). Amy and Joe being teachers had a great ‘school’ theme, with ‘rough-book’ Order of Service for church, and class registers for the seating plan. They embraced the village hall setting too by having a game of bingo and a raffle….I was very jealous that I couldn’t join in as I love a bit of Bingo! It really was a lovely day to be a part of…here are some of my highlights of the day.
